Line Cook – Bearcat Café NOLA

Bearcat Café is expanding, and we are looking for ambitious and fun people to join our Bearcat team, in our Back of House team.  

The perfect candidate is qualified to work in the U.S, has a few years of experience, and is interested in a long-term career.  Please do not apply if you are looking for a short term work opportunity.   We are looking for candidates who are interested in growing with Bearcat Café.  Our restaurant has successfully grown since its inception and we are looking for individuals who are passionate and curious, who help set the tone and pace for years to come.

Driven - You have the ability to maintain our standards without much oversight.  You are driven to dedicate 110% of yourself to deliver a memorable dining experience to our patrons, with a smile.

Organized -  Being clean, efficient, and organized is key to a successful day.  However, in addition, you also maintain a sharp focus on allergens and cross contamination, as our menu focuses on catering to dining patrons with dietary restrictions and food allergies. 


Responsibilities of the Role:

Learn all menus, including all ingredients and technique, in a thorough and timely manner

Maintain complete familiarity with signature presentations

Taste your line everyday

Set up your station and side stations

Responsible of every aspect of your station

Be aware of your teammates, and be quick to volunteer to help

Work closely with FOH and baristas

Have a positive attitude

Stores bottles, plate ware, food items accurately

Clean and sanitize all equipment with care
